COVID-19 Rodeo Update

Based on guidelines and health protocols outlined by Texas Governor Greg Abbott on May 18, 2020, for rodeos and equestrian events, the Coleman PRCA Rodeo Board of Directors has voted to proceed with plans to produce the 83rd Coleman PRCA Rodeo on the originally scheduled dates of June 11, 12 and 13.

Based on the current COVID-19 guidelines in place, there will be modified attendance to abide by the 50% capacity rule.

There will be daily COVID-19 screenings for all contestants and personnel.

Added precautions will be taken with sanitization stations and cleaning of the arena and seating before and after performances, among others.

All pre-sales will take place online for the 2020 Rodeo. The pre-sale period will begin at 9am on June 1.  Each day, we will determine when to disable the online feature if we are nearing 50% capacity.  The ticket capacity for each night is 1950. As such, it is recommended that rodeo fans visit the web site early to get tickets before all are sold.

Due to the current circumstances there will be no concerts after the rodeo this year.

The kid’s goat scramble and mutton bustin’ during the rodeo nightly will not be held this year due to the sanitization restrictions.
